MYUK CHAMPIONS

MYUK rightfully took the crown of Gloucester's Futsal Champions with a convincing defeat of a full strength AC D MANZ 4-0 in the Onside Aspire Futsal League Finals night.

The game was a stalemate for large parts with both teams defending well against occasional attacks from either side.

First blood went to MYUK with a first half goal from the boot of Anis Kara.

Things continued to be tight for the opeing ten minutes of the second half then as the teams tired gaps opened up and MYUKs ability to pass came to the fore.
Goals from Bilal Mulla , Salim Veshmia and another from Anis Kara, sealed MYUKs entry into the Regional Finals on Sunday 4th of July.
As one of the AC D MANZ players said ' .....you better do Gloucester proud.'

Although he wasn't severley tested in this particular game great credit for MYUKs success must go down to the goalkeeping of Zain Shaikh. He proved the most reliable custodian throughout the course of the league and has booked his number 1 shirt in the new 'FUTSAL CLUB GLOUCESTER' team, who are currently in training for friendly games throughout the rest of this year.
